Amidst maternal criticism, a Nigerian immigrant woman, Ire,feels betrayed by her husband.
This betrayal intensifies her emotional turmoil, as she journeys through self-discovery, while simultaneously confronting her own childhood trauma,
and the paternity of the child she carries is shrouded in uncertainty.
This compels her to reconsider the future of her marriage and her own path to
healing.
